By accessing or using ScholaMatched ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. We may update these Terms at any time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

ScholaMatched provides an AI-powered scholarship discovery and matching platform. We help students find scholarships that match their academic profile and preferences. We are not a scholarship provider, we curate and surface information from publicly available sources.

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By registering, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.
• You may not create accounts using automated means or create multiple accounts for the same person.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations.
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts.
• Submit false or misleading profile information to manipulate match results.
• Interfere with the operation of the Service or other users' experience.

Scholarship information on ScholaMatched is provided for informational purposes only. We make reasonable efforts to keep data accurate and up-to-date, but we do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of any scholarship listing. Always verify eligibility requirements and deadlines directly with the scholarship provider before applying.

The ScholaMatched platform, including its design, algorithms, and content, is owned by ScholaMatched and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that match scores will result in scholarship acceptance. Your use of match scores and recommendations is entirely at your own discretion.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ScholaMatched shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, including missed scholarship deadlines, application rejections, or data loss.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ethiopia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
